I like smaller local stores, they usually have some of the coolest things in there... though depending on what your getting there it can become expensive. I wouldn't recommend it for all the time grocery shopping, but the once in a while lookin' for snacks is pretty awesome. Like the Obama popcorn ball they had... I swore it was like his crunchy evil twin... or maybe the good one, too bad I don't like popcorn balls.
Hmm. I don't have a WinCo here. We have Winn Dixie and we have Publix. Now I like Publix - they have the best sweet tea ever. And loads of gamer snackage to be had at Publix. And Wal-Mart, too. But they don't count, cuz they have everything anyways.
Oh yes, WinCo is magical. That's not a bad idea, even dried fruit in and of itself is cheap and fairly healthy. Nothing is as good as Emerald trail mix though. I got some chocolate-covered peanuts from WinCo last time...they weren't that good. I guess they all can't be winners.
Yeah, I like the yogurt-dipped pretzels. Quite tasty. But for me, it's pizza rolls. Not as greasy as pizza, and you can just pick 'em up with two fingers and eat it quickly. But then again, I shoulda chose 'all of the above.'
Man, I like to crunch on ice cubes, and siting at my computer is the only time I get to do it
And you know, if you were at WinCo you could just get some died fruit in the bulk section and add it to the train mix. I Love the WinCo bulk section, especially since they have those yogurt dipped pretzel things...
Probably. I was deferred last week for it being too low. Meh.
My favorite trail mix is Emerald Trail Mix. It's in this big green bag, they have them here at WinCo, $4 for a 2-pound bag. Peanuts, raisins, m&ms and almonds. It's awesome. Sadly, no fruit, but whatchagonnado.
Ain't nothin wrong with trail mix. I like that trail mix that the cranberry raisins and the papaya and coconut and peanuts.. All kinds of good stuff. There's a few others I like, too, but they need fruit in 'em before I'll eat it. And I don't mean just dried up banana chips either.
And pretzels? Eh.. If you want healthy for plasma, just make sure the protein is high, but not too high. If your protein is too high, that could cause problems, I'm sure.
